About Me

Originally from Georgia, I moved to New Orleans in 2011 for grad school. Since that time I’ve traveled to Uganda, Africa multiple times and India once, graduated with an MA in Marriage and Family Counseling, married the man of my dreams (and prayers), and worked with adolescents involved in the judicial system in the Greater New Orleans Area. I currently supervise Master’s students in their clinical practicum and I provide counseling services at a private practice.

I am the mom of a very busy toddler named, Norah, and this is likely my favorite role in life, and honestly the most challenging.

On my down time I enjoy cooking new recipes found on Pinterest, sipping coffee with friends, spending time with Josh and Norah, painting my nails, watching Netflix, soaking in the sunshine, and enjoying the sweet treat of Blue Bell’s Cookie Two Step ice cream.
